Former Trump adviser Steve Bannon penned a message of recommendation to the “Make America Great Again” motion — a nod to former President Trump’s 2016 marketing campaign motto — forward of Election Day, writing from Danbury Jail in Connecticut that “the moment is now on our side.”
“[Vice President] Harris has peaked,” Bannon wrote in an op-ed revealed Friday by The Nationwide Pulse. “The momentum is now on our side, and this is the time to capitalize on it.”
“If the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement focuses all of its efforts on a massive get-out-the-vote and ballot-chasing effort in the crucial days and weeks until November 5th, we will win and win big,” he added, with the election now lower than six weeks away.
Bannon is predicted to be launched from jail Oct. 29, after starting to serve a four-month sentence earlier in the summertime. He was discovered responsible on two counts of contempt of Congress in 2022 after failing to seem earlier than the Home choose committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the Capitol, and refusing to show over paperwork.
Within the letter, he went on to color an image of a failing Harris marketing campaign.
“To date, the Harris campaign has offered no real solutions to the struggles Americans face,” he wrote, referencing inflation, crime charges and “weakened” nationwide safety.
“These topics can’t be masked by feel-good phrases, celebrity endorsements, or as many Oprah interviews as you want,” Bannon added.
The Trump ally stated that “Americans are decisively rejecting the phony “politics of joy” and the empty promises that define the Harris campaign,” referencing polls revealed by The Nationwide Pulse exhibiting immigration as a high problem this election cycle and Trump main President Biden earlier than his choice to exit the race and endorse the vp.
Bannon ended the letter by saying, “Victory is at hand.”
