The heads of a congressional process drive stated Sunday they’d requested a briefing from the Secret Service within the wake of one other obvious assassination try in opposition to former President Trump.
“The Activity Drive is monitoring this tried assassination of former President Trump in West Palm Seaside this afternoon,” Reps. Mike Kelly (R-Pa.) and Jason Crow (D-Colo.) stated in a press release. “We have requested a briefing with the U.S. Secret Service about what happened and how security responded.”
Kelly and Crow lead a process drive created to analyze the July assassination try on Trump in Butler, Pa.
“We are thankful that the former President was not harmed, but remain deeply concerned about political violence and condemn it in all of its forms,” the Home members continued. “The Activity Drive will share updates as we be taught extra.”
Trump was taking part in golf Sunday at his course in West Palm Seaside, Fla., when one other try on his life was made. Authorities in Florida stated a Secret Service agent noticed a rifle barrel sticking by a golf course fence. The agent fired photographs, and a person dropped an AK-style rifle with a scope and fled in an SUV, officers added.
Legislation enforcement stated authorities apprehended a person in Martin County in a car that matched a witness’s description.

Trump later thanked legislation enforcement in a submit on Reality Social for what he known as an “incredible job.”
