Luigi Mangione, the suspect within the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, waived extradition and is headed again to New York to face homicide expenses.
Mangione, 26, will depart Pennsylvania on Thursday after he agreed to be extradited throughout a court docket look, a spokeswoman confirmed.
He was being held within the Keystone State after his arrest in Altoona final week.
Thompson was shot and killed in Manhattan earlier this month outdoors the Hilton Midtown resort earlier than his firm’s annual investor assembly. The suspect fled, and a days-long manhunt ensued.
Mangione was noticed in a McDonald’s in Altoona and has been in custody on firearm expenses in Pennsylvania.
