Ohio Rep. Greg Landsman (D) mentioned Tuesday he would be part of the Congressional Delivering Excellent Authorities Effectivity (DOGE) Caucus, which seeks to be a counterpart to the brand new “Division of Authorities Effectivity in President-elect Trump’s administration.
Landsman joined NewsNation’s Blake Burman for “The Hill” on Tuesday when requested if he would comply with fellow Democrat Rep. Jared Moskowitz (Fla.) in becoming a member of the caucus.
“Oh, yeah, you got to be in the room,” he mentioned. “If you want to affect change and have an impact, you want to be in the room.”
Moskowitz grew to become the primary Democrat to hitch the Caucus, noting he believes in “streamlining” authorities processes and mentioned that making authorities efficient and environment friendly “should not be a partisan issue.”
